Geopolitical Update, Sept 5, 2025

1. Iran is running out of water and out of time!  There have been record droughts in parts of the country, particularly in Tehran.  This has affected agriculture also causing a famine.  Experts are now saying that Iran only has a few weeks left before they run completely out of water.  Will this situation force a mass migration?  Very possibly. Matt. 24:7 indicates famine as a last-days sign.  

2. As you know, Iran has proxies throughout the Middle East with Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthi’s.  Hezbollah in Lebanon has almost been completely defeated and so has Hamas in Gaza.  The Houthis in Yemen continue to be a problem.  They sent another missile into Israel last week and shortly thereafter, Israel took out their entire leadership; the Prime Minister, Finance Minister, Defense Minister, chief spokesman and leader of the Houthis.  And President Trump has already warned Iraq that if they support Iran, bad things will happen to them.  

3. Regarding the school shooting in MN last week, the New York Times amazingly had this story on their front page with the title, “Demonic”.  Yes, the shooting was demonic and the transgender agenda is demonic.  Studies show that 80% of the kids who want to transition will eventually grow out of it.  This is a Rom. 1 issue regarding God giving them over to a reprobate mind.  In other words, they will lose their ability to reason.  Ever wonder why so many people just don’t seem to “get it”?  Perhaps the Lord has turned more people than we realize over to a reprobate mind.

4. What’s going to happen in Gaza?  That’s the question the entire world is asking.  Recently, former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair met with Jared Kushner at the White House to discuss the Gaza issue.  Is this a good thing?  That’s another good question because Blair is a big globalist and Kushner is one of the main architects of The Abraham Accords.  Again, this plays into endtime prophecy with globalism and the false peace that will precede the chaos of the last days.

5. Israel recently released a video (I won’t post it here) with 2 young boys whose father and older brother were killed on Oct. 7.  It is one of the most pitiful videos I’ve ever seen as one of the little boys was blinded in one eye and the other is crying and screaming in fear for his parents.  I can’t unsee it and I can’t unhear those little voices.  Their mother made the comment, “You can’t sleep at night knowing the enemy is next door.”  We cannot imagine living in such a situation.  Please pray for those who have been affected from this war.  Living in this kind of fear for that long has a profound effect on any human being of any age.

6. There’s a big UN meeting coming up very soon with all the member countries and the topic on the agenda is Gaza.  Many countries are pushing for a 2-state solution including Canada, France, and Saudi Arabia. The U.S. State Department has refused to grant visas to Mahmoud Abbas (PLO President) and his Palestinian delegation (79 other people) and they are about to have a meltdown over it.  As these individuals have all been declared terrorists by the U.S., it is within our rights and power to deem this necessary, especially since it will be taking place in NY.  

7. The really interesting news this week has to do with a red heifer.  We have discussed this topic before.  So, what’s the deal with the red heifer?  In Num. 19, the ashes of a red heifer were used in the tabernacle and the temple as part of a purification ritual.  This heifer has to be perfect.  It could never have been yoked.  It can have no more than 3 hairs going in the opposite direction.  It must have perfect teeth, eyes, etc.  The Bible speaks indirectly of a 3rd temple that will be standing during the time of the 7-year tribulation.  Hamas, in a letter they released last year indicated that one reason for the attack of Oct. 7, 2023 was the search for a red heifer because they did not want a Jewish temple built on the Temple Mount beside their Islamic mosque.  Although Israeli police maintain overall security to the area, the Jordanian Waqf (who are all Muslims) currently police the Temple Mount. This has been the arrangement since the 1967 war.  I don’t think Israel should have ever agreed to this, but they did it to maintain peace.  There has been talk for the last 2 years that the Israeli government may establish complete control of the Temple Mount.  This would cause the international hatred of Israel to increase, but I do think it’s coming.  This red heifer has reportedly been identified and sacrificed.  The ashes of 1 heifer have been known to last for 200 years.  The recent sacrifice was kept a secret because of what happened on Oct. 7.   That 3rd temple may be coming much quicker than we think.  (Matt. 24:15, 

There will be a blood moon on Sept. 7-8.  This is very close to the beginning of the fall feasts.  The Feast of Trumpets begins on Sept. 22, 2025.  Scripture speaks of a blood moon in Joel 2:31 and Rev. 6:12 as being part of apocalyptic events.  I would not get too worked up over this as we are not in the 7-year tribulation and we certainly don’t want to be date-setters.  Mark 13:32 “About that day and time, no one knows.”
