Geopolitical Update

Lots going on in the world today!  And I will say, if you don’t know the Lord, it should literally scare you to death.  But sometimes (most of the time), those who do not know God, don’t even know enough to be scared.  They should be, but they don’t know the end of the story.  We do.  A great delusion is falling upon mankind right now because they have refused to accept the love of the truth. (2 Thess. 2:10-11)  From now on, when I do a geopolitical update, just know that I’m not reporting anything and everything.  I’m only reporting how what is going on might be related to endtime prophecy.

1. An historic meeting happened last week between President Trump and Russian President Putin.  It was the first time in 10 years that a Russian president had stepped foot on American soil.  That meeting took place in Anchorage, AK.  The meeting was to negotiate an end to the Ukraine/Russia war.  However, no immediate agreement was reached.  Today, Zelenski arrives in DC along with other European and NATO leaders to hopefully aid in the negotiations of an end to this useless war.  Wars, wars, and rumors of wars….Matt. 24

2. The Gaza War - It seems as though this war is never going to be over!  Prime Minister Netanyahu plans for a full occupation of Gaza beginning with Gaza City.  This is proposed to be done in phases.  Israel plans on issuing about 1,000,000 evacuation notices to the current residents.  After this area is evacuated, then Israel plans to build hospitals, schools, etc. with the international money that has been given to rebuild Gaza.  Israel also plans to launch a military offensive.  This is going to be done in order to force Hamas out of leadership and to get the hostages back.  Wars, wars, and rumors of wars…..Matt. 24

3. What about the hunger in Gaza?  Recently, President Trump sent American envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Ambassador Mike Huckabee into Gaza to observe the “hunger” issue.  After their visit, they reported that there was NO hunger in Gaza.  As a result of this, (which most of us already knew) there is no good reason for Hamas to negotiate the release of the hostages.  Netanyahu has also stated that he will not even consider a partial deal regarding the hostages.  He wants them all and he wants them now.  Fox News correspondent, Bill Hemmer was also present during this Gaza visit and he reported that what he saw was a lot of healthy people and he also concluded that there was not a hunger problem in Gaza.  That said, the humanitarian trucks filled with food are still being taken over by Hamas so that they can sell this food to the people it was intended for.  A UN whistleblower complained of gross misconduct of humanitarian aid and stated that the UN Humanitarian Affairs office turned down assistance by the IDF.  And then, they complain that Israel is not doing enough.  “Oh the tangled webs we weave when first we practice to deceive.” Scripture speaks of the deception of the last days.  There will be false prophets and sophisticated deception and a great turning away from the truth. Matt. 24

4. Nuclear explorations are currently going on in the Mediterranean with US Air Force planes that detect traces of nuclear explosions flying over.  This is very interesting, but we don’t know if anything has shown up just yet.  Wars, wars, and rumors of wars…..Matt. 24

5. The Hague, a major city in the Netherlands and the site of the International Criminal Court, is bereft with antisemitism.  Recently, the Israeli embassy was broken into and red paint was poured all over the inside to resemble blood.  Antisemitism is spreading like a cancer!  “Jerusalem will be a cup of reeling for the whole world.” Zech. 12:2-3

6. There’s a lot of talk about a red heifer being found and used for ceremonial purposes in the coming 3rd Jewish temple on the Temple Mount.  This 3rd temple is going to come, we just don’t know when. This will be the temple that the Antichrist invades and tries to take the place of God.  In order for this temple to be functional, lots of things will need to be in place.  The ashes of a red heifer were used in ancient days for ceremonial purification purposes.  A red calf was recently slaughtered and burned, but it was not deemed to be good enough for ceremonial use due to too many defects.  Plans for the 3rd temple which will be standing during the tribulation have been underway for a long time.  It will eventually happen, we just don’t know when.  “He will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he will sit in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thess. 2:4

7. There are creepy posters all around Greece with a skeleton in an army helmet with the words, “Death Death to the IDF”.  Israel has already started evacuating all of their diplomats from Greece.  Antisemitism is spreading like a cancer.  “Jerusalem will be a cup of reeling for the whole world.”  Zech. 12:2-3

8. Islam is becoming far too normalized in our American culture than I’m comfortable with.  Muslim groups have been buying land and attempting to have pockets of areas under Sharia Law.  Sharia Law is the Islamic legal system that is derived from the Quran.  It encompasses religious, legal, ethical, and practical aspects of life for the Muslims.  It is far different from our American laws.  As a former beauty pageant girl, I’m always interested in what is going on in the pageant world.  Recently, in a city in Michigan, a young Islamic woman was crowned as a local title holder.  She will compete for the title of Miss Michigan and if she wins, she will compete for the Miss America title.  She was in full Muslim dress including a hijab (headscarf) and an abya (loose outer robe).  Her crown had to be pinned to her hijab as her hair cannot be seen.  There will be false Christs in the last days. Matt. 24:24

All across Europe, the percentage of Muslim school-aged children is drastically increasing.  The culture of every country in Europe is changing and Europe will no longer have the unique ancient cultures that the world has long enjoyed.  

9.The Druze in Syria continue to be attacked and Israel continues to fight for them.  Don’t see this on the evening news.  The Druze in Syria are now waving the Israeli flag.  Wars, wars, and rumors of wars Matt. 24.

10. Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson - I don’t know how many of you actually saw or listened to the recent interview between these 2 on Tucker Carlson’s show.  It was startling to say the least.  Owen’s referred to Israel as “a fake demon state”.  Carlson did not disagree with her.  And they both continue to verbalize that they are not antisemitic.  “Jerusalem will be a cup of reeling for the entire world.” Zech. 12:2-3

11. Bounty for Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro - In 2020, there was an initial $15 million reward from the US for any information leading to the arrest of Maduro.  That reward was later increased to $25 million and now, Trump raised it to $50 million.  This man is accused of being involved in major drug cartels and is a leading narco-terrorist and is thought to be a threat to our national security. For sure, Maduro is a bad egg that needs to be eliminated.  “Lawlessness will increase and the love of many will grow cold.” Matt. 24:12

12. National Guard troops in DC - Is this a good thing or a bad thing?  Depends on who you ask.  Washington, DC has one of the highest crime rates of any major city in the US.  I used to live there, and even 38 years ago, I was never not scared when I went out by myself.  Our nation's capital should be a safe place to live and work and visit.  “Lawlessness will increase and the love of many will grow cold.” Matt. 24:12
