Statement OF Faith
The Holy Scriptures – We believe that the Bible was written by men under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind. It is inerrant in its original documents, being free from all falsehood. We believe that Scripture was recorded by a dual authorship of God breathing out His Word to individual men who each had different personalities, and thus, recorded Scripture in his own individual style of writing. (2 Pet. 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:16) God – We believe that there is only one God and that He is represented in three personages; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is 1 in essence and 3 in persons. Each personage has the same personal attributes and nature including, incomprehensibility, omniscience, omnipresence, and immutability. (Rom. 11:33, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, John 10:30, 1 John 5:7)

Each personage has the same personal attributes and nature including, incomprehensibility, omniscience, omnipresence, and immutability. (Rom. 11:33, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, John 10:30, 1 John 5:7)
Man – We believe that mankind is made in the image of God. Every human being is an image bearer of God. We believe that when God created man and woman, He created two distinct sexes and that all those born after Adam and Eve are biologically defined just as they were at birth. We believe that marriage is between one man and one womanfor life. We believe that God’s intention in the creation of mankind was to bring glory to Himself, for mankind to enjoy communing with Him, and to fulfill God’s purpose for him. (Gen. 1:26-28, Gen. 2:24, Matt. 19:4-5, 1 Cor. 10:31, Col. 1:16)
Sin – We believe that every person who is born is born with a sin nature and is totally depraved. We believe that sin entered the world through the original sin of Adam and Eve and their sin caused humanity and all of creation to suffer. We believe that all sin is a capital crime to a holy God. We believe that our sin separates us from God and that the only way to be united with Him is through salvation. We believe that prior to salvation, each person is deserving of the wrath of God. (Is. 53:6, Rom. 7:14, Rom. 5:12, Eph. 2:3, Rom. 8:22)
Salvation – We believe that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that only through the atoning blood of a perfect sacrifice (Jesus Christ) can anyone be saved. We believe that there is nothing human beings can do to earn salvation. It is a free gift from God. Being saved means that we become children of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. (John 1:12-13, Rom. 5:18-19, Eph. 2:8-9, 1 Pet. 1:18-19, Rom. 8:17)
Spiritual Security – We believe that once an individual is saved that they are sealed by the Holy Spirit and kept safe spiritually. We believe that those who once claimed to have accepted Jesus Christ and later denounced Him, never really knew HIm to start with. With that said, those who are truly saved will demonstrate the fruits of salvation. (John 5:24, Eph. 1:13-14, 1 Cor. 1:4-8, Gal. 5:22-23, 1 John 2:19)
The Church – We believe that when a person places his/her faith in Christ, that person is immediately a part of the Church or the Bride of Christ of which Christ is the Head. We believe that the Church began on the Day of Pentecost and that the Church will be complete when Jesus raptures them out of this world and into heaven. We believe that the Church is made up of both Jew and Gentile believers. (1 Cor. 12:12-13, Eph. 5:23-32, Acts 2:1-47)
Israel – We believe that the Church and Israel are two separate entities and that the Church has not replaced Israel in God’s economy. We reject replacement theology/supersessionism. We believe that Israel is the ancestral line of Abraham and that God will make good on His unconditional covenant promises made with him. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for both Israel and the Church and that once the Church is raptured, then God’s plan for Israel will be realized in the last days during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, or the tribulation period. We believe that the remnant of Israel left on the earth at the end of the tribulation will all be saved. (Gen. 12, Gen. 15, Rom. 11:26, Zech. 12:10) There is an article on this website called The Differences Between Israel and the Church for more information on this topic.
We believe in the 5 solas (means “alone”) of the Protestant Reformation. These Latin phrases are:
Sola Fide (Faith alone)
We believe that salvation is received through Jesus Christ alone, not through any works or merit from the individual.
Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone)
We believe that the Bible is the sole source of divinely revealed truth and the ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice.
Sola Gratia (Grace alone)
Salvation is an unearned gift from God, freely given to sinners through His grace.
Solus Christus (Christ alone)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the sole mediator between God and humanity, and that salvation is found only through Him.
Soli Deo Christus (Glory to God alone)
All glory and honor belong to God alone, and all things should be done for His glory.
