What Is Replacement Theology?
In a nutshell, Replacement Theology (also called Supersessionism) is a Christian theological position that believes that the Church has replaced Israel as God’s chosen people and thus Israel is no longer the inheritor of any of the promises of God.
God Told Me
For the record, I want you to know that God has never audibly told me anything. Any true word from God is found in Scripture. That is how He speaks to us. The past several months, I’ve had a growing concern about emergent church movements and how they affect the Church (with a big “C”). We have discussed some of these within the context of our Bible studies.
Christians & Politics
There are many who believe that we should and many who believe that we should not. Truth is, we are all involved in the political process whether we want to be or not. Even if we choose not to vote, our abstention is a political statement. As believers in Christ, we need to be involved with things that affect God’s creation and how it is run. Voting is a matter of stewardship.
What About The Transgender Movement?
The transgender movement is a whole different animal than the homosexual movement although they are related in certain ways. The homosexual propaganda would have you believe that sexual orientation is innate from birth.
Pro-Life Versus
Do you believe that the Bible is the God-breathed Word of God and that it is absolute truth?This is always the starting point. If they answer yes, then you can have a healthy conversation. If they answer no, then you are arguing apples and oranges. It would be like sitting down at the table trying to rationalize with a member of Hamas.
The Homosexual Question
I entitled this as it is entitled because so many believers in Christ ask themselves the question, “Can you be gay and be a Christian?”. Hopefully, this will help you to navigate this question. There is likely no family out there today that doesn’t have at least one person who does not claim to be gay or lesbian.
End Time Signs
Matthew 24 describes a time before, during, and after the tribulation. Speaking from a pre-tribulation point of view, I believe that believers in Christ will be raptured prior to the last 7 years of tribulation.
