Is there a difference between testing and tempting?
I believe there is a huge difference! Temptation is when someone entices you to engage in things that are not considered good. For us, as believers, temptation would be when someone tries to get us to engage in sin. What does James 1:13 tell us about God and temptation?
To make it clear, God does not tempt us, but He does test us. Tests help us to know if we are fit for service. There are several reasons for being tested.
