Zechariah - Lesson 2
The pictures I’m finding for this study are weird! But then again, so is the content of the study! The picture above is a stone with 7 eyes. This will make more sense towards the end of the chapter. Last week we discussed the apocalyptic literature that is found in the book of Zechariah. This type of literature paints pictures with words because for the most part, that is all the writer could do since the scenes the writer was privy to were often something for which they had no point of reference at all. Some Bible commentators believe that this book has 10 visions and others believe it has 8. That’s really just splitting hairs. For purposes of this study, we will break them down into 8 visions. This week, we’re going to look at the 4th vision.
