Revelation Chapter 18

This week in our lesson, the world is on fire! Last week was a humdinger of a lesson and a humdinger of a chapter! Rev. 18 is a continuation of Rev. 17. It’s all about Babylon. Interestingly, when Sadaam Hussein was in power, he envisioned himself as the next King Nebuchadnezzar because Nebuchadnezzar was the last great king of Babylon. He even had a coin produced with his image on one side and King Nebuchadnezzar’s image on the other. Let’s refresh ourselves about Babylon.

Babylon represents the Beast system. Depending on the context in which it is used, Babylon could be:

A city - a literal geographical location

A religion - a false one

A political and economic entity - a worldwide one

What we are going to witness in this chapter is a world with people who have a lot of stuff. Of course, everyone doesn’t have a tremendous amount of material wealth. But there will be merchants and people in high places who have an abundance of wealth during this time. Now, you may say, “Well, that’s the case today.”. Yes, it is the case today, but it will be even more so during this time.

I want you to think about when you were a child. What did you have? What was in your house? How often did you get to go out to eat, even if it was just Pals or McDonald’s? I had it made growing up. But I was in middle school before my parents could afford a second car. Today, even the poor often have 2 cars. Going out to eat might have been something we did maybe once a month. It was a luxury.

Most of us live in opulence compared to how we grew up. And today, our kids want to stop and get a hamburger or go to Walmart or whatever, and spend money that they didn’t earn just about every time they go out.

Here are some statistics that I heard from a pastor I listen to:

“There are 300,000 items in the average American home. The average size of the American home has nearly tripled in size over the last 50 years and still, one in every 10 Americans rent off-site storage and these storage places are the fastest growing segment of the American commercial real estate market in the past 4 decades. 25% of people with 2-car garages don’t have room to park cars inside them and 32% only have room for 1 vehicle because of all the stuff inside the garage. 3.1 % of the world’s children live in America, but they own 40% of the toys consumed globally. The average American woman owns 30 outfits. In 1930, that number was 9. The average American throws away 65 pounds of clothing per year.”

I have to share a story with you about a close relative (I won’t say who this is). When she was a senior in high school, she got called to the office for violating the dress code and the principal told her to go home and change clothes because her skirt was too short. Then he reminded her that she had worn that skirt before and she had been warned about wearing that particular skirt. Her response to him was, “That is not true because I have never repeated the same outfit this year.” Can you imagine?! Our children are so indulged. We are so indulged. I pray that we are all good stewards of the things God has allowed us to have.

When we speak about the material wealth that will be part of the Beast system called Babylon, we have to look at what we currently have and marvel that the wealth of those last 7 years will be so much more than what we’ve become accustomed to. Again, this is only for a segment of the population. Remember, this system is going to be a consolidation of all worldly wealth and Marxist ideology will have to be part of it to ensure that people are only able to have a certain amount of everything. Everything will be monitored. But just as the rich get richer today, the rich will be far richer in the future and this chapter is an indication that not only will there be a lot of wealth, the goods and services sold will be abundant. There will no longer be the haves and the have-nots. There will be the haves and the have-mores.

1. Read Rev. 18:1-3. How does verse 1 begin?

2. What “things” is this speaking of?

3. This is apparently a later revelation than the one we studied last week from Rev. 17. Is the angel in Rev. 18:1 different from the angel in Rev. 17:1?

The “woman” in Rev. 17 is speaking of the religious, ecclesiastical part of the Beast system. In Rev. 18, we will be looking at another aspect of Babylon, the political/economic power.

4. What do you learn has happened to Babylon?

Once again, we learn something that is spoken of in the Greek aorist tense. It is a tense that speaks of something that hasn’t happened yet, but it is such a sure thing that it will happen that whatever is spoken about is spoken of in terms as if it had already happened. There are other places in this book (some we have studied and some we have not) where this verb tense is used.

5. What is predicted in the following verses?

Rev. 3:21

Rev. 10:7

Rev. 14:8 and Rev. 18:2

Rev. 6:14 and Rev. 16:20

Rev. 19:6

Rev. 6:1-17

At the point in which John was recording these events, he was looking forward to the event as if it had already occurred. What we have in Rev. 18 is the 2nd part of the Beast system we refer to as Babylon. So, in some terms, we could conclude that the fall of Babylon was two-fold:

1. The spiritual/religious system crashed.

2. The physical location that embodied the financial and political hub crashed.

This is not a Wall Street crash. This crash will destroy the economies of the entire world. Once the Beast goes into the temple and creates something that Daniel the prophet refers to as “the abomination of desolation”, then the Beast sets himself up as God. Whatever 1-world religion was being observed has now shifted to the worship of the Beast. He sets himself up as God. So, not only is he the political leader of the world, now, he is the ruler of the world as well as the religious one in whom the people will be forced to worship.

One question we must ask ourselves here is this, where on the timeline does Rev. 17 and Rev. 18 fall? Rev. 17 must take place just before the halfway or 3 1⁄2 year mark. This has to be the case because people will not be forced to worship the Beast until that halfway mark. Rev. 18 has to take place further down the timeline closer to the 2nd coming of Christ.

If you recall from last week's lesson in Rev. 17, there was no sobbing or mourning over the 1-world religious system being destroyed. But this week, with the destruction of the political and economic power, the world does mourn as we will discover later on in chapter 18.

6. In Rev. 18:2, who is inhabiting Babylon?

I have to tell you that every time I read the words, “angry birds”, it makes me crack up! I don’t know if you remember a few years ago when there was a popular cartoon and even plush animal toys named Angry Birds. When Gabe and I were in Memphis, the gift shop at St. Jude had an abundance of angry bird stuffed animals. Somehow, I don’t think that is what is meant here in v. 2 about angry birds. 😀

7. In Rev. 18:3, what was the economic effect that this Beast system had on the world?

Do you know of any evangelists who have gotten rich from their preaching and promoting of themselves? In other studies, I’ve posted pictures of some of their homes and the level of wealth they have acquired. It is a lot! But the level of wealth that these false teachers will acquire during the tribulation will be even greater and it will be spread out over many more people in the religious world. What we are getting ready to see here in Rev. 18, is that the wealth and prosperity that has occurred across the earth as a result of this religious system will now be transferred over to the political system.

8. Read Rev. 18:4-5. What 2 reasons does God give here for His people (the tribulation believers) to get out of Babylon?

1.

2.

9. This is not the first time in Scripture where God tells His people to “Get Out!”. Read Jer. 50:4-9 and Jer. 51:5-7. 45. What is God instructing them to do in these verses?

10. Read Isaiah 48:20. This is God speaking to the Jewish people. What is He telling them?

This is similar to what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah in Gen. 19 when God instructed Lot to get out of there and to take his family with him and never look back. We know what happened there. Lot and his children escaped, but his wife turned back and God turned her into a pillar of salt. God wanted them to:

1. Leave physically.

2. Leave spiritually.

3. Look ahead for what God will do for them, not look behind them and grieve over what has been lost. There was so much more to gain than what they were leaving behind.

4. Leave the desire for material wealth behind. There are far more important things in life.

Could God be saying the exact same thing today to us as believers? Does He want us to stay away from bad influences? Does He want us to reject all false doctrine? Does He want us to not have our focus on material things and to look to what He can and will do for us in the future if we trust Him and not focus on what we might be leaving behind? The answer to all of these questions is YES!

11. How bad were the sins of Babylon? How high did they reach?

Perhaps this is an allusion to the Tower of Babel back in Gen. 11, when the people thought they could build a structure to reach the heavens. The structure of sin here in Rev. 18 has piled up until it can pile up no more and God is going to deal with it.

12. In Rev. 18:7, how is Babylon referred to and not referred to?

This is such an odd verse. Why would the Babylonian system brag about being a queen and not a widow?

13. Read Lamentations 1:1. Who is the city spoken of in this passage?

There are many other passages in the Bible and even one entire book, Hosea, that talks about Israel being like a widow. Like is the key word here because God never left or divorced the nation of Israel. The taunt in Rev. 18:7 from Babylon indicates that the earth-dwellers of the Babylonian mindset will be telling Israel that God has left her. And Babylon brags about the fact that she is royalty and not a widow like Israel.

Let me tell you friends, those are fighting words to God!

14. Turn back to Gen. 15:17-18. What does God promise to Abraham?

Abraham did not participate in this covenant. God did this.....all of it. It was and is an unconditional covenant and although Israel went a whoring around with the gods of other nations, God never divorced her. Israel is not a widow. She still belongs to God. The event that occurred in Gen. 15 changed the world!

15. Read Rev. 18:11-23 and list everything mentioned about the wonders and riches of Babylon.

My goodness, what a place! There is no mention that Babylon produced all these things, but she was certainly the hub of commerce for the selling of those things. The grandeur and finery will be unmatched. Yet, in a very short period of time, all will be lost.

16. How long will it take to destroy Babylon?

Things can happen quickly, sometimes in an instant! This will be like a terrible car crash that nobody saw coming. When Joe Biden took office in 2021, I said to myself, “How long will it take for these liberal policies to filter down to us plain folk?”. And within a few months, his administration had reversed the border policy and opened up our country to all kinds of illegals coming across the border, passed a $1.9 trillion package that caused inflation to skyrocket, pulled our troops out of Afghanistan in such a careless and chaotic way that we lost 13 Americans and left behind billions of dollars worth of military equipment, energy policies and gas prices went through the roof, all of the Covid-19 mandates cripled businesses and cost millions of people to lose their jobs, but the worst thing of all, the DEI woke policies across our federal agencies that created division and prioritized social issues over national security.

The American dream became a long-lost dream for young couples and 1st time homebuyers. And that’s just a little bit of the craziness! What we witnessed for the 4 years Biden was in office will be nothing even comparable to what the earth-dwellers will witness with the fall of Babylon.

America is clawing its way out of what those 4 years caused, but rest assured that it is only a matter of time before we will not only see what we have previously witnessed, but the next time, it will be worse. Scripture promises that. If the end of time will be like childbirth, then it will get progressively worse and more intense.

Never get too comfortable with the ease and wealth of today. It could evaporate tomorrow. This place is not our home. We have a place of rejoicing awaiting us beyond the glassy sea!

Will Babylon actually fall in 1 hour or is this symbolic? My guess is that if there is a specific timestamp on it, then it will be an hour. The downfall of this great city will be a downfall like none other in the history of the world.

Biblical history records another quick and mighty fall from grace. Look back to Daniel 5:24-31. If you recall, King Belshazzar of the Babylonian Empire was giving a feast and in the midst of that feast a hand appears mysteriously and writes on the wall.

17. Daniel was called in to interpret the writing. What was written?

While the writing was being written, Babylon was already being invaded. Hearing Daniel’s words no doubt caused King Beshazzar to think that he had a heads-up on what was going to happen and could do something about it. The enemy came in right under their feet, literally. Will there be copies of the Bible during these last 7 years? Hopefully. Probably. But regardless of how much of a heads-up these wicked people have, their destruction will be swift and it will be total.

There are many in the evangelical world who do not believe that ancient Babylon will be rebuilt. They have some sound reasons to believe this. After all, the site of ancient Babylon is uninhabitable today. It is the site of a UNESCO World Heritage Site (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). This organization was founded in 1945 and promotes world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences, and culture.

Hmmm, that peace and security thing keeps coming up. Its goal is to foster global, inclusive, and ethical technological development. All of these buzz words should have your antennas going up. The site of ancient Babylon is a protected tourist site. This site that was once the magnificent jewel of Mesopotamia where palaces and hanging gardens and enormous, ornate temples once lived is now pretty much in ruins. The Ishtar Gate is still there.

The reconstructed Ishtar Gate was dismantled in Babylon and transported to the Pergamum Museum in Berlin. We talked about that when we studied about the 7 letters to the 7 churches of Asia Minor. If you recall, Pergamum is where the Bible says the seat of Satan is. The church at Pergamum was a compromising church.

If you go to the site of where ancient Babylon once stood, there are still some foundational remains of the original gate. King Nebuchadnezzar had this gate built. On this gate is the image of 3 Babylonian gods. It was through this gate that the people entered to celebrate the New Year, Babylon’s biggest celebration. The picture here is a recreation of the Ishtar Gate.

18. Read Isaiah 13:19-22. What does God say about Babylon in these verses?

19. What else does God say about Babylon in Jer. 51:24-26?

20. Now go back and look at Isaiah 13:6. When will this destruction come?

21. Has that particular day occurred yet?

So while many would say that because ancient Babylon is not currently inhabited, the prophecy about the destruction of Babylon has already happened. But if you take a literal interpretation of Scripture, then this ancient site will be rebuilt and destroyed at the 2nd coming of Christ. I lean towards this.

When Saddam Hussein was in power, he attempted to rebuild Babylon, but we all know how he ended up! DEAD! Today, the site is being refurbished by UNESCO, the Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage and....by US grants! Yes, we are helping with the rebuilding of ancient Babylon. It is the hope of the Iraqi government that this site will become a cultural site and boost Iraqi tourism. We already know that the railway from the Al Faw port will go straight through Babylon possibly making it one of the largest if not the largest industrial centers in the world.

Never look at Scripture and say that this or that cannot happen literally because there is no current context for it. If the Word of God says it, it will come to pass. You can put your money on it!

22. In Rev. 18:9-10, what will the reaction be from the kings of the earth? They don’t seem to be too shaken up over the fact that they have turned away from God. Their dependence was never upon God. It was upon their wealth.

23. What is their fear?

There are certain words that do not translate well from one language to another. The Greek word used in lament is kopsontai. This is a much stronger word than our English word lament. It means loudly wail and beat one’s chest. These kings have not only lost their wealth, but they have lost their chance for the mercy and grace of God. The fall of Babylon here in Rev. 18 is the fall of the political and economic system of the Beast.

24. In Rev. 18:12-19, what do you learn about the economic character of Babylon?

The Persian Gulf is a significant distance from the ancient site of Babylon (155-186 miles). So how in the world could people on ships witness this kind of destruction?

I’m not sure and I don’t have to figure that out. But I did a little research on this topic and looked at the distance from the horizon to the sea level and the curvature of the earth. It would be near to impossible to see such destruction from this distance. However, at night, a massive fire could produce a light reflection from the clouds if the atmospheric conditions were just right. Can you imagine being that far away and seeing the glow of destruction in the sky? I imagine that is what it will be. We do know that they will be a good distance away according to v. 10. The people wailing in the distance are not wailing for the life lost in the destruction of Babylon. They are wailing because of the stuff lost.

25. What does Scripture tell us about the wealth of this world in Matt. 6:19 21?

So, we looked at the destruction of the religious system in Rev. 17. Now we see the destruction of the political and economic system.

26. Does Rev. 18:20 seem strange to you and why?

On behalf of all the saints of God who were martyred by this wicked Beast system, God rains down judgment on them and all of heaven is rejoicing. There is weeping and wailing on earth, but there is rejoicing in heaven. That is quite the contrast.

27. How does God finish off Babylon in Rev. 18:21?

28. In Rev. 18:23, what else do you discover that Babylon did?

The Greek word for sorcery here is pharmakia. It is the root word from which we get the word pharmacy from. When we read the word sorcery, witchcraft comes to our mind. But here in this context, it is letting us know that there will be a lot of drugs used during this time. I have no doubt that some of those drugs will be mind-altering, euphoria-producing drugs. We are already well on our way to that scenario today. What we see today in what we consider to be a drug crisis is nothing compared to what it will be like during the tribulation.

29. What was found in Babylon in Rev. 18:24?

Don’t ever think that too much time has gone by for God to avenge His people. He can and He will.

I want to shift gears and get into something that I recently came across that is very, very interesting and that is the Club of Rome. The Club of Rome is a global thinktank that was founded in 1968. Basically, it’s a bunch of elite technocrats who plan to solve all the world’s problems. 😊They are trying to figure out the answers to complex emergencies that the planet might encounter. You know, like Covid.

In their meetings, they are currently trying to figure out “green finance”...aka a 1-world monetary system. Also on their agenda is sustainable development...aka, the green new deal. But here is their big goal for the 21st century, redefining peace. By addressing the whole “peace” issue, they are looking to change the value systems of the world. I’m not sure what that even means, but it doesn’t sound good.

Another key concern for them is the fear of overpopulation of the planet and believe it or not, they are trying to figure out a way to decrease the population of the earth. I think that perhaps the whole worldwide Covid pandemic was one way to do that. This is frightening folks!

But perhaps the biggest eye-opener regarding the Club of Rome is that all the way back in 1968 when this all started, they divided the world into 10 geographical regions, and they refer to these regions as the 10 kingdoms. That’s right, 10!!! Friends, ya can’t make this stuff up! Here is the map below of how things are divided up. This is a New World Order. But, is it the New World Order of the book of Revelation? I think there’s a very good chance that it is. The thought process behind the 10 kingdoms was not necessarily that all 10 kingdoms would be under 1 authoritarian rule, but that each kingdom within the 10 kingdoms could better address the issues in their geographical area of the world if they worked together. Sounds noble. Sounds plausible. But then, the plans of Satan generally do.

Rev. 17:12-14 “The 10 horns which you saw are 10 kings who have received no kingdom yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the Beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the Beast.”

Here is the way this map is divided up:

1. North America

2. Western Europe

3. Japan

4. Australia and South Africa

5. Eastern Europe (including Russia)

6. Latin America

7. North Africa and the Middle East

8. Sub-Saharan Africa

9. Southeast Asia

10. China

Right now, there are 195 countries in the world. 195 sovereign nations would have to consolidate their power to make 10. But what would need to transpire to cause something this drastic to happen? Well, in western Europe, that has basically already happened with the European Union. In order for #7 on the map to occur, Iran would have to fall and that is already in the pipeline right now.

Don’t you find all of this interesting considering the fact that President Trump has been actively trying to acquire Canada and Greenland? We already have control of the Panama Canal. And now, Venezuela may also be in play. Giving up national sovereignty and erasing boundaries will also have to be part of the Beast system.

30. What do you discover in Rev. 16:12?

China (#10) will end up rebelling against the Beast system when the kings from the east come across the Euphrates River for the battle of Armageddon. In light of all this, there’s something else that we need to consider, the Gog/Magog War of Ezekiel 38-39. These 2 chapters contain some of the clearest prophetic words spoken in Scripture. They lay out a future event detailing a massive army coming against Israel

in the last days. When on the timeline will this happen? We really don’t know. It could be before or after the rapture of the Church. I will give you my opinion in just a bit as we dive into this.

Ezekiel 38-39 can easily be broken into 3 parts: 1. What is going on in Israel prior to the invasion by Gog; 2. What happens during the invasion; and 3. What happens after the invasion.

31. Go ahead and read both chapters. In Ezekiel 38:23, what reason does God give for the events of these chapters? What is going on in Israel prior to the invasion?

32. Ezekiel 38:8 lists the conditions that Israel will be living in just prior to the invasion. What are those conditions?

Jews from around the world will have to be gathered back to the land of Israel. That is currently going on and with all the antisemitism out there today, Israel is the only place on the planet where Jews are safe. After WWII, the nation of Israel was gathered from the 4 corners of the earth where they had been exiled since AD 70. Never in the history of mankind has it happened that a nation has been dispersed for 2000 years and come back to claim their land. The U.S. currently has almost as many Jews as does Israel.

33. In Ezekiel 38:12-13, what is implied here about the wealth of Israel at the time of this invasion?

Israel already has vast wealth in the area of produce, livestock, minerals, gas, and oil. It is home to a huge diamond market and investors from all over the world invest in this market. Israeli scientists are also on the cutting edge of many medications for healing and technologies for information. The people who live there live above the standards of living in most other countries.

Here’s the picture, Israel will be living securely in their own land. They have not lived securely in their own land since they became a nation again on May 14, 1948. On May 15, 1948, they were attacked by the nations surrounding them. Many of the Muslim nations around them despise them. Some of them are kinda making nice with them right now because of the war in Iran. But deep down, these Muslim nations hate Israel. The whole Abraham Accords peace deal that rolled out in 2020 sought to make peace between Israel and its neighbors. So far, only the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco have signed on. But now, since Iran has attacked these other Muslim countries, I have a feeling that when this current war is over, more countries will sign on. In fact, that is already in the talks.

Before the Ezekiel 38-39 war can happen, peace must be in Israel, and it is on the horizon right now. What happens during the invasion by Gog? Also, before we answer the question above, Gog is not a place. Gog is a person. Magog is a place.

34. Why is there an invasion of Israel in the first place? What does Ezekiel 38:12 say?

The invasion is not solely on the basis of antisemitism. In fact, the Bible says nothing about the antisemitic thoughts of the invaders, although the countries who will invade them have proven throughout history that they are indeed antisemitic. The reason for this attack will be material.

The countries involved in this war are on the map above, along with their modern names.

35. Where is the location of Magog according to Ezekiel 38:15 and Ezekiel 39:2?

Theologians are divided as to whether this is referring to Russia or Turkey. If this war was today and Magog was in Russia, then Vladimir Putin would be Gog. However, if Magog is in Turkey, then Recep Erdogan would be Gog. There will also be nations who stand on the sidelines and protest.

36. Who are those nations in Ezekiel 38:13?

37. How does this massive army come upon Israel in Ezekiel 38:16?

There is of course, no mention of the U.S. in these 2 chapters. Everything that happens in end-time prophecy occurs in the Middle East. Coming upon Israel like a cloud paints the picture for us that there will be so many people coming against Israel from the north, it will be like a swarm covering the land. But when this happens, God will be furious with Gog of Magog.

38. In Ezekiel 38:19, what does God send? What happens after the invasion of Magog?

This is where Ezekiel 39 comes into play. After Ezekiel 38, there will obviously be a lot of dead people lying around....a lot!

39. What does Ezekiel 39:9 say the people of Israel will do to the weapons they find from the invaders?

Somehow, it looks as if the Jews will be able to convert the energy from the weapons of battle used by the enemy for useful energy for themselves and this will last for 7 years. God has certainly gifted the Jewish people with ingenuity.

40. How long will it take to bury the dead in Ezekiel 39:12?

41. How long is the tribulation period?

Do you think it’s a coincidence that these allotments of time are 7 years? Nothing is coincidental with God. We don’t know when this invasion/war will be, but I think there is a good possibility that it will be right after the rapture of the Church. This would fit perfectly into our timeline. The rapture will cast the world into utter chaos, both politically and economically. What better time to attack Israel than when the world is thrown into chaos?

Another thing to also consider is what will be the fallout from the current war with Iran? If the Iranian regime is taken down and a more “friendly” government is set up, there is a good chance that peace will indeed spread across the Middle East and there you have it, the perfect set up for the tribulation. If the Church is raptured and the world is thrown into chaos, there will be a need for a man with a plan to swoop in and save the world and people will welcome it. And when this false peace comes into play, the scene is set for the possibility of the Ezekiel 38-39 war.

According to Ezekiel 39:14-16, there will be a place set aside for burial and the land will have to be cleansed. We must ask ourselves some questions here. Other than the fact that people are dead, why would the land have to be cleansed? I think perhaps because there could be nuclear or biological weapons involved. These verses indicate that only a certain group of men will be in charge of these burials to protect and warn people not to be around the bones until they are buried. So, we should be asking ourselves why the sign does not say to avoid the “bodies” until they are buried.

42. Ezekiel 39:17-19 answers the question as to why only the bones will be buried. What is that reason?

How interesting is it that God will use what is already here to rip the flesh off of the dead bodies of this army as well as their animals. He uses the birds of their air and the beasts of the field to devour the flesh before the bones are buried. I want to share something that I came across several years ago in my studying. From the time the Jews left the land in 70 AD after the destruction of the temple, until 1917 when they started coming back into the land, the land of Israel was a virtual desert.

There were no animals, no green grass, and no rain. With no trees or grain crops, wild animals and birds, including vultures, disappeared from the land. Now that the Jews are back in the land, the vulture population has increased.

But the vulture population has been threatened. Actually threatened to the point of being extinct. Because farmers and others have put pesticides on dead deer and other animals, much of the vulture population has been killed off. As a result of this, in the 1970s, the Israeli government set up 16 feeding stations to feed vultures and grow the vulture population. As ugly and gross as these birds are, they are part of the cycle of life and are needed.

Why do I even mention this? Because I believe that God is currently growing the vulture population specifically to deal with the dead bodies from the Magog invasion and then later from the battle of Armageddon as listed in Rev. 19 and 21. Could the fact that Israel has purposely been growing its vulture population for the past 50-60 years be a sign of the coming of the end of the age? Perhaps. It is mind-blowing to me how God sets the stage before it even happens and He is doing this in regard to the future Gog/Magog invasion.

This still doesn’t answer the question about why nobody can touch the bones and why they will need to be buried. If there is a nuclear issue here, that would answer why it would not be safe to touch the bones of the dead. They would be radioactive.

If there is a biological reason (biological warfare) then the bones will not be safe to touch. As we are coming close to the end of the book, I wanted to include something else that is not in the book of Revelation specifically, but will likely have some bearing on how things will play out.

Artificial intelligence is already a part of our everyday lives. Now, there’s a thing called quantum AI. This takes AI up a whole lot of notches! I use quantum AI when I do pictures for this website. When I did the cover photo for the website, I typed in that I wanted a blonde-haired warrior princess holding a globe and that I wanted the picture to look hopeful. It took all of about 3-5 seconds to produce the image that I chose to use. There’s no way I could have painted or produced such a beautiful photo on my own. This stuff is absolutely incredible! ChatGPT is part of the quantum AI menu as well. You can tell ChatGPT to write a 10 page paper (or 100 pages, doesn’t

matter) on whatever topic you want and to footnote it or even to produce a 30 minute video and within seconds, you have your product. And guess what? Right now, this stuff is free for the most part. I’m hearing that it will continue to improve and speed up. That should frighten all of us to death because sooner or later this AI stuff will be out of the hands of human beings. It will begin to take on a whole life of its own.
